11 positive cases in one day in Corona / Punjab
Jalandhar / Nawanshahar / Hoshiarpur / Amritsar. For the first time in Punjab, 11 cases of Corona positive have been reported in a single day on Saturday. There have also been reports of 6 members of the family of a positive patient who died in Banga town of Nawanshahar. Nawanshahar: The report of 3 sons, a daughter, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter of her family, who came in contact with an elderly corona victim in village Pathalawa, has come positive. Her sister-in-law, sister-in-law and her son are admitted to Phillaur. All are isolated. Please tell that this 74-year-old corona victim reached Nawanshahar on March 6 along with two other colleagues. The elderly died on 18 March. After that, samples of a total of 19 people from village Pathalawa and village sujas were sent, out of which 6 reports have been positive. Administration now came in contact with these six people.

Hoshiarpur- 1 case} 1 suspected positive of Corona has been found in Hoshiarpur. Doctors said that out of the patients admitted in the civil isolation ward, samples of 8 were sent to Chandigarh, out of which the negative report of 6 and the person of village Meranwali of Garhshankar has come positive. The said patient came in contact with the elderly victim of death due to Karona virus in Nawanshahar's village Pathalawa. The remaining 5 members of the said patient were also sent to the isolation ward.
40-year-old man reached Amritsar from England, apprehended from station
Amritsar-1 case has been found positive in Passenger Corona virus admitted in the isolation ward of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital on Friday. There have been 2 virus-infected patients in the district. A relative who came to receive the patient at the railway station has also been sent to the Quarantine Center. The 40-year-old youth came to Dubai first from England and then to Delhi. After stopping at the hotel there, Amritsar came by train. Here the team of Health Department was caught and got admitted in isolation ward.

The second case is of a 28-year-old girl who had come in contact with a positive woman from Chandigarh when she went to Amritsar to pick up the airport. The third case is of a 42-year-old woman admitted to GH-16 Chandigarh. The woman also returned from the UK on 12 March. There are now 4 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Mohali.
